About
A foundation built by a woman who used the product first.
Anjani Foundation was started in 2025 by entrepreneur Anjani Pochampally, funded entirely from her own pocket. She had used a menstrual cup for eight years and knew what it saved: money, discomfort, missed school days, and the roughly five hundred years each disposable pad takes to break down.
The foundation works where girls are concentrated: government schools, degree colleges and hostels of three hundred to twelve hundred students. Each visit combines an awareness session with a practical, on-demand supply of reusable cups, and a year of quiet follow-up through a trained teacher.
Education and mentoring grew from the same visits. Students who asked about periods also asked about careers, exams and confidence, so mentors now travel with the health team.

Vision
A healthier, educated and empowered society where no girl leaves school because of her body, her doubts or her means.
Mission
To close critical gaps in health, education and skills through sustainable, transparent, measurable community programmes run with schools rather than around them.

How we protect students
We count outcomes. We never collect a girl’s name.
Students are minors. The foundation records only aggregate numbers per institution: how many cups were given and how many are in use. Teachers who join the programme give written consent. All data is held on servers in India.
