Anjani Foundation works inside government schools and colleges in Telangana on menstrual health, mental health and education. We are starting with one promise: a pad-free Siddipet by 2028.
What we do
Three pillars, one classroom at a time.
Health
A 45-minute session that replaces myths with facts, then reusable menstrual cups for the girls and teachers who choose them, with a nodal teacher and a doctor on call for the year that follows.
Menstrual and mental healthEducation
Career guidance, motivation and financial literacy sessions led by mentors, including our president who has coached hundreds of civil servants over twenty years.
Mentoring and career guidanceAwareness
Trusted articles and videos on women's health, sorted by age and by the ten questions girls ask most, so nobody has to rely on rumours or random videos.

A school asks for a session
A principal, teacher or volunteer requests a visit. Eight government schools asked us last month.
The 45-minute session
Myths and facts, what is normal and what is not, self-care. Girls tell us it is the most fun class of the term.
Girls and teachers opt in
Only those who want a cup register. We stopped handing cups to everyone because unused cups help nobody.
Cups reach the nodal teacher
Sized small, medium or large, delivered to a trained teacher in the school who hands them out and answers questions.
Twelve monthly check-ins
The nodal teacher records who is using their cup each month. After a year it is a habit, and we move on to the next school.
Our first promise
Pad-free Siddipet by 2028.
Siddipet constituency has about 120,000 government-school students. With the constituency's support we are training a nodal teacher in every institution, so that every girl who wants a reusable cup can get one, learn to use it and keep using it.

What happened this season
Siddipet teachers' session
28 teachers attended, 14 chose cups. 20 of 400 students registered, delivered on Teachers' Day to nodal teacher Ms. Vandana.
Menstrual awareness and motivation
MJP Telangana BC Welfare Residential School and College, Wargal. 767 girls, 1,729 cups.
Inauguration and first session
Kothapet, Hyderabad. 300 girls aged 12 to 15, with Dr. Ramya Sowjanya.
